We were asked to develop a holistic brand design for a birth control pill trial. Having the target audience in mind we opted for a subtle, feminine design using pastel accents, black font, and a white background, paired with a picture of a happy couple. This evokes feelings of trust, intimacy, and responsibility. To build brand recognition we designed everything ranging from poster and flyer to patient cards to giveaways.
Birth control pills are <span style="color: #242629">oral contraceptives which consist of low hormone doses resembling those naturally occurring in the menstrual cycle.</span> These hormones function by halting ovulation and the egg's release from the ovary. Only invented in the 1950s it is crucial to constantly develop the pill further.
