We created a recruitment flyer for a candida vulvovaginitis study. Since it is a sensitive topic it calls for a discreet approach. On the flyer you can see an illustration of a lower body in underwear surrounded by flowers. Flowers and bright colors generally evoke a positive feeling making the topic more comfortable for people to engage with.
Candidiasis is a common fungal infection caused by Candida, <span style="color: #E71D53">a type of yeast that naturally resides on the skin, in the mouth, throat, gut, and vagina without causing issues.</span> However, changes in vaginal conditions, often triggered by factors like hormones, medications, or immune system fluctuations, can lead to Candida overgrowth, resulting in infection.
